Sources of Vitamin A and How the Body Uses It

Vitamin can be found in the following food sources (from highest to lowest):



  • Liver - beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish (including cod liver oil)
  • Dandelion greens
  • Carrots
  • Broccoli  (broccoli florets have much less).
  • Sweet potato
  • Butter
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Pumpkin
  • Collard greens
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Cantaloupe melon
  • Egg
  • Apricot
  • Papaya
  • Mango
  • Pea
  • Milk
